TERRELL ROUSLTON
BSC Honours Student, Saint Mary's University
Terrell Roulston joined Dr. Jeremy Lundholm's lab in Summer 2018 and has since contributed to research ranging from saltmarsh and coastal barren restoration to controlled green roof experiments and pollinator surveys. Currently, Terrell is completing his BSc Honours project which includes surveying pollinators found on dykes and saltmarshes in the Annapolis Valley to understand how each habitat supports valuable pollination services to surrounding agricultural crops on the dykelands. Additionally, this research may provide insight into how dyke realignment and/or breach may impact pollinators and their services. Having been raised in the Annapolis Valley this project is of great importance to Terrell, and he hopes this work will impact the communities in which he grew up. Terrell plans to go onto a Master's program, continuing his research on pollination ecology. His hope is to discover ways to safeguard wild pollinators in agroecosystems.
