Gordon M. Hickey is a professor and William Dawson scholar in the Department of Natural Resource Sciences at McGill University specializing in sustainable natural resource management, policy and governance. He is the founding head of the interdisciplinary Sustainable Futures Research Laboratory (https://sustainability-research.mcgill.ca/) and an associate editor of the journals food security and society & natural resources. Prior to joining McGill, he worked in senior policy and management roles in government leading specialist teams to deliver a range of resource sustainability initiatives.
