Dr. Julia Baird holds a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Human Dimensions of Water Resources and Water Resilience. She is a sustainability scientist: her research is problem-oriented and solution-focused. Dr. Baird’s research focus is on the structure, function and outcomes of water management and governance, individual perceptions and understanding of water resource systems, and social factors that enhance water stewardship and engagement. She employs a resilience lens in her research and uses mixed methods in her approach.
