Rouillard holds a BSc in Biochemisty as well as a Master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Université Laval. She has worked as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Manager in diverse academic laboratories, both in Quebec City and Atlanta, Georgia, as well as for a start-up biotechnology company in Ottawa prior to joining NSERC in 2008. There, she has worked in program delivery both in the Research Grants and Research Partnerships Directorates. In her current position, she oversees the evaluation and administration of a portfolio of Collaborative Research and Development grants, Industrial Research Chairs, Strategic Networks and Alliance grants.
